Urgent call to Action to protect the Columbia River !

Yesterday we sent a Riveraction Alert asking you to contact key Ways and Means Committee leadership and urge them to vote NO on HB 3525---a bill that would direct the state to circumvent existing fish protection laws and would require the state to grant 500,000 acre feet of water rights from the Columbia River regardless of the impacts on salmon and steelhead.

Since yesterday, we have learned that there is a movement afoot to get the votes necessary for a "motion to withdraw" so that the bill is withdrawn from the Committee and  goes directly to the House for a floor vote. 

SO TODAY, WE NEED YOU TO CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE, AND THE HOUSE LEADERSHIP, TO URGE THEM TO VOTE NO ON HB 3525.
