Privacy Policy
Description of WaterWatch's privacy policy.
Thank you for visiting the WaterWatch of Oregon website and reviewing our privacy policy. During your visit to the website, we collect no personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information (for example, by signing up to be a member or joining our Riveraction alert list).
We do not share email addresses with others.
We do occasionally share our membership list with organizations with similar goals. Our membership and donation forms allow for you to permanently opt-out of such list exchanges by simply checking a box.
We also track and collect information regarding the number of visitors to our website, when visits occur, and which areas of the website are most visited. We do not track this information by individual visitor. From time to time, we also analyze the broad demographics of our membership; no personal data is reflected in the report.
Our website has
links to other organizations and government agencies that our visitors might
find of interest. We do not research the privacy policies on sites to which we
link and make no representation regarding these policies. If you are interested
in such information, please read the privacy policy on those sites.
When our website asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card
numbers), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best
encryption software in the industry, Secure Sockets Layer or SSL. Credit card
numbers entered on-line are sent via SSL encryption software to our third-party
secure processor and are not received or stored in our office.
